it worked well until he crashed at the top of 330 and bounced all the way into the pond...

If you look back to the late 70's or early 80's there was a similar debate over Full Face Helmets breaking
people necks....but when was the last time you saw someone racing open face?

I always liked Full Face & seeing a guy missing front teeth at Hi-Point in 1979 reinforced that belief.

The neck braces are rather new on the market & going to evolve over time for the better much the same way
any product does.

My racing is non-existent these days but my daughter & I both have the EVS & like the additional head support
it provides. When not wearing it I felt naked & noticed an increased in what my neck took during normal riding.

My thoughts have always been to use as much protection as possible.

Interesting. I wonder how the other neck braces compare to that one when tested side by side.

Nexis does what ? Shows testing and vows to show results? (hooray that's all I've wanted this whole neck brace argument)

Looks like neck braces are finally blowing up. This should make buying a neck brace a much easier choice if the manufactures show testing as they say they will.

Also saw another one in another forum called the MR Brace (from Brazil), looks like a Leatt.

If one starts it should mean they will all have to but lets wait and see!!!!
 
Nexis looks like a fancier version of my omega x1 brace. I have had them all except the EVS and I really like the design of the omega and I really like not busting my chin on the top of the brace when I crash like I did with the bionic.

from my understanding its the same designer/engineers. the italians that were in on the deal ran outa money or something. i was told something like this, but they didnt touch on it completely.
the nexis people say they are trying to design a neck brace that wouldnt cause any more harm than if you werent wearing one at all.
