Supercross Main Dodger stadium 2012 - Trey Canard and Ryan Morais crashes out w/injuries.

Update on injuries today on RacerX, "Morais’ wife Hannah tweeted that he had broken his jaw and had suffered three fractures in his neck. Muscle Milk Honda team manager Erik Kehoe confirmed similar news for Canard, saying the Oklahoma rider had been knocked out, but then came too and said he didn’t feel like anything was injured. Later, a report surfaced that Canard had fractured the T10 and T12 verterae in his neck."

Definitely a nasty crash for both riders.

WOW these guys have both had some bad luck...didn't Morais have his jaw wired shut a few years ago from a broken jaw?
 
I didnt see the race, but had a girl at the arenacross tell me that JS7 took out Jake Wiemer........what did it take, three weeks for him to take someone out........Happy to hear Reed got the win. The last 10 years, the winner of round three has won the championship. I would love to see Reed pull that off.

even in a thread that has nothing to do with him, you continue to bash the guy, even without seeing what happened. high five bud. your doing good.

anyways, it sounds like both riders are still waiting to hear the decision for surgery or not. this sounds like good news to me.

So did he take him out or not?
 
JS7 ran him pretty high into a banked corner. Weimer didn't back off any and ran out of room from my view. Weimer rode up the side of a tuff block and tipped over...

At first I thought just got clipped on the bars but that was horrendous. Then replayed in slow mo and thought wholy Shtt he got landed on then saw him laying motionless on the side of the track and absolutely thought the worst...
SOOO!!! unfortunate for Trey. MAN he just can't get back on his feet without having the rug pulled out from under him.
Yet, at the same time, SOOO!!! VERY!!! lucky!
 
Hate to say it but he's lucky he's not dead! Thats the kind of crash that will kill someone. Might not ever see him on a bike again way the past year has gone!

Did you guys know that John250 hates Tyler Bowers too. He's just not so open about it because his knows Tylers old man lives closer to his area than Big James does. :p

Very scary watching that. I'm glad it's not any worse than it is. Prayers go out to both riders and families for a speedy and full recovery.

Nah......I like Tyler. I just dont care for all the Hype of Bubba.......Big James, the whole reality TV series (everyone on it besides his mom, seemed to act like idiots half the time), etc. There are guys that dedicate their careers to racing, and those that dont. Bubba got to the point that he was more about Bubba and the "lifestyle" than Bubba the racer. As a motocross fan, I prefer the guy that trains and is focused to do one thing, race. Guys like RC, Reed, Canard, Dungey, RV......those guys are focused to race motocross. Even with his new job at JGR, he is gonna be moonlighting in a late model, then hopefully trucks. So while he is racing motocross at JGR, he is not totally focused on MX but cars and trucks also.
While Bubba is not one of my favorite riders, I really dont have the hate that most of you think I do.......I just dont think he is the guy that is focused to be the total MX package anymore. It started sliding about the time he got his TV show (which I have only seen parts of here and there, thought it was pretty stupid). And I do not feel he uses his head at times when in the pack, and rides like he is the only one on the track. Just my opinion........but I guess Barrington and Georgie dont think that anyone should have an opinion on different riders.
