Since i value the opinions here on pit racer I want to throw this out there and see what feedback i get. I'm building an 03 YZ 125 and need a crank and cylinder, that being said whats the advantages/disadvantages of the 144 over stock if any? Thanks in advance for any opinions

Correct me if I'm wrong but i don't believe those years will interchange, 99-01,,02-04,, and 05 up? I know the head, plastic, and exhaust are different! Thanks for the info tho Tom, much appreciated

What is someone looking at to have a 144 kit put in their bike? I got an yz125 (2006) and the thought has crossed my mind unfortunately I'm not too mechanically inclined...

Strong +1 on Eric Gorr. Much better quality / end product than the Athena kit. I don't have his contact info, but I am sure you could search either his name or Forward Motion (his company).

If you already need a crank and a top end / clinder, going to a 144 comes out to less than $200 additional $. Best single performance mod out there, IMO.
