Not sure, but it looked to me like he realized fighting was slowing him down and he took a break...regrouped...and attacked at the opportune time. Thats maturity.

Awesome race last night. Loved seeing Trey Canard get a great finish. Davi pulled out when he came around TC, TC jumped sideways, and almost hit the tough blocks. LOVED seeing Hansen take himself out on a tough block........can you say Karma Hanney? Millsaps seems like he has been around forever, but he is only 24. Great ride for him, no one saw that one coming but Pastrana, wonder if he had any money on him in Vegas. RV, wow, over the berm once, and on the ground twice.....never thought that would happen. RD, great consistant ride to start the season. As for Bubba.......Is he the biggest wuss on the SX curcuit? This guy could hurt himself eating a bowl of cereal for breakfast. He has more drama around him than my 7th grade daughter. I say he will not complete the whole series...the knee will now be a crutch for the rest of the season.
Disappointed to see Bagget get 14th. I wish SX would get rid of the east and west.......the 250 class then would be exciting all year long.
Did anyone catch the comments about the National Arenacross becoming a manatory feeder system before you will be able to race SX? You will have to get so many points to then move onto SX. This could be great for the National Arenacross series and some of these guys going from LL right to Gieco, or Rockstar and Pro Curcuit, will now have to go through Arenacross, so perhaps these teams will be sponsoring them in arenacross to secure them for SX. Might be interesting to see what happens here.

DM18 was on it through tho whoops... then seems like tc41 just had no answer. I mean he tried but nearly went down. Then it was just too much to make back. Glad to see him make this kind of return! Bummed for RV just was on the edge after the 1st crash. Looks like the season could be a real good one. Let's hope they all stay healthy.
Now on to the coverage. Ralph looks like he may need a rogaine sponsorship. That and possibly a muzzle. He was making a bunch of blunders through his comments. As for the new guy I can't complain yet. He makes more sense then the cliche' lady and her teeth. Give me rc fro and davey coombs or heck any of those Canadian MX guys and I will LLLLLOOOOOOOOVVVEEEEEEEE IIIIIIIITTTTT!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

sounds like he hit his head and the team made the decision to stop him from racing, and that he will be back for rd2.

If you watch the race, the biggest closing of the gap on the second to last lap came when Canard screwed up in the Quad section and only double doubled while Milsaps did the Quad and was right back on his tail. Canard's mistake in there cost him the race win and allowed Davi to smell the blood in the water on the last lap!

I was crying the whole nite because we did not get to see Tedesco or the other Alessi brother. Oh how unfair. Can't believe everyone just didn't get up and walk out...
i don't know who got 18th but I am sure it was someone more deserving then those two llosers and I lost the office pool. I had the "good" Alessi pulling off on lap 2 after getting the hole shot. That super star made it all the way to lap 3. Yeah. Get him a factory ride

Watched the pass in Super slow mo when Millsaps re took the lead on the last lap and TC41 did hit him hard, but it wasn't on purpose, he was going down and the only way to save it was veering to the right and into Millsaps. I'm sure Davi looked at film and knew afterwards, but on the track it was like I made a nice pass and this guy RAMMED me!
Unbelievable that TC41 stayed up in that sequence.

Hey rubbin is racing. I thought the two were cool with it. Heck Canard even came up at the end of race and congratulated him. You can't win everything by being a nice guy.

After taking out Phil Nicoletti with an aggressive block pass, Hansen was battling over the final transfer spot in the LCQ with Kyle Chisholm before his night ended when he jumped too close to the edge of the track and landed on some Tuff Blocks. Miles from qualifying, Hansen took his aggression out in the final turn by ramming Alex Ray. As he was exiting the track, Hansen had words with Nicoletti while Ray took a ride in the Asterisk Medical Mule.
The first block pass yeah I understand cuz you are trying to qualify, but just taking someone out cuz you're pissed should not be tolerated at all at any level. Dude should be banned from at least one race. Any other major sports organization would not put up with this and neither should the AMA.

Earlier today, we posted a report that said Dodge Motorsports/Sycuan Casino’s Josh Hill would return to racing this weekend in Phoenix, but we have now received an update from Team Manger Kenny Watson. For precautionary reasons, Hill will be out for another 2-3 weeks. He hit his head in a crash at Anaheim practice, and it was the teams decision to sit him for the night show. He’s also dealing with a small injury to his hand.
