AMA Banquet

Kari and I attended the AMA Championship Banquet for the first time, I must say it was a first class affair. We were really impressed. A lot of people dressed to the 9's, professional announcers, big names, and amazingly good food. The desserts were to die for!

This Championship banquet honors the champions for all the AMA amateur divivions - Hare Scramble, Dirt Track, Road Race, Enduro, Endurocross, Loretta Lynn's, Ice Racing, Speedway, Hillclimb, Land Speed Records, Trials, Vintage Grand Championships, and also ATV divisions in many of those listed.

Needless to say the place was packed!

Got a few pics, not many. Really good time, glad we went! It has re-motivated me to try and win the new AMA Vintage Series this season!

Series is Lincoln Trail, Log Road, Action Sports and then the final is Mid Ohio. All four races count for points. Not sure on dates.

Also looks good for my request of Non Current 125 and Non Current 250-Open.

Spoke to two guys from AMA about races. They again said announcement to public will be soon. They did tell me that there will be mini classes and modern support classes. We will have to wait for announcement .
