Stolen bike trying to find the owners

I dont have 100% proof the bike is stolen, but my gut from the moment i saw this on Facebooks newark ohio selling wall told me this bike is stolen. I'm hoping to find the owners of the bike or something. I dont stand for anyone stealing period. Let alone trying to resell stolen bikes its just p##es me off to no end to see it. If these people are just ignorant than this post hurts no one. but if this is someones bike that was ripped off, well then it couldnt hurt. they seem to know nothing about the bike. nor do they have a title. said it was a 2002.

It's not an 02. If they said it was they clearly don't know what they got. 02 had steel frame.

i see several bikes a day on craigslist that the years are listed 100% wrong and quite a few have no title.. i txtd one guy with an 97 yz 125 that said it was an 03.. he swore up n down it was an 03.. lol hopefully if that particular one happens to be stolen, this post helps tho..

If you are close go look at it, tell them you will think about it and make sure to get the vin. Run it through the NICB website, https://www.nicb.org/theft_and_fraud_awareness/vincheck , if it was insured while stolen it would be listed there (usually). If you find nothing, post the VIN on here, there are some folks on here I know of who might take a "special" look into it.
