Joker lane is a must for half supercross rounds! Not all of them cause all the riders would melt down...But half the races.And to John 250 ....JS7 might be back Bro !
 
Thought Poto might be toast for the season after that crash , any updates ? How out of character for both RV and RD5 to miss doing the joker lane . Stewart looked good , as did Barcia and Roczen . Expected a bit more from Tomac . 2014 SX should be great , especially if RV is nicked up a bit . I DVR'd the race and thought " Oh , Crap ! " when the car race ran long but we got to see all 3 motos .

x2! Although I started watching it last night and had to hit the sack. Was a great race! Race #2 was the best except for RV going down. Hated to see that. Loved RC and Emig in booth when they kept replaying the vid when RD realized he forgot the Joker lane. This race was all about the Joker....

I thought it was crazy that RD could miss taking the joker lane but RV missing it was even worse IMO. Im wondering if he realized it as he was going around that 180 and that was enough to lose focus on that jump.
Stewart rode amazing. Its too bad about the gate mix up in main 1. Looked like he had a good jump. Might have won the million. Either way this has to be a huge confidence booster going into A1.

That's what makes sense to me. He just got mad at himself and out of his groove cause he missed the joker lane. And that second when you break your focus is when you make a mistake like that.

But, as a whole. That was one of my favorite nights of racing that I've ever seen on tv.

I agree with both thoughts. You know RV's thoughts weren't on racing 100% at that point. Kinda took the greatness out of that one race. It was race of the night. The Joker played a good part in the last lap of race 3 as well. Was good. Bring on SX 2014!
 
I think he said he thought he had another lap. Didn't see the white flag I guess. Either way, hope he is ok. I also hope no jokers incorporate a joker lane in the normal SX series. Let the racers race.
 
Anyone watch those 85's flying around and hittin those jumps?! Those kids looked tiny compaired to those mountains they were hitting! Cant not belive the talent of the younger kids, motocross is getting into a whole different level.
 
Mx freedom after two rums cokes ......I was watching telling my buddies.."Man we are washed up old dudes" " these kids would smoke us and laugh" Then after 5 rum and coke"F-that I am training all winter and would smokes these kids in a second" hahahahaha
 
I'm guessing Rv was trying to set js7 up for a pass and carried to much speed for the Joker Lane then realized and lost focus for that jump. Either way Stewart had nothing for Rv besides a few cheap pass backs slowing Rv down.
 
looked like JS7 had enough for RV2. at least for this race. Shows he still can run fast. Don't think it means he's back, but think he could be a contender in SX if he stays healthy and motivated. We know that RV will came ready he's shown that before!
joker lane is good for the OPEN race, but they should keep it from the regular SX.
Race as a whole was very good. Nice to see Cameron Steele back with us even for a moment. Now if only they could find Jamie Little again! lol i won't go any further on that... :)

Were you watching the same race I was? RV had nothing for JS7, he was pulling on him and out many nice passes on him.. RV pulled a JS7 and crashed out trying to keep up!

Fastest lap of the night went to JS. JS showed RV the fast way around the track, including a "how to" huck big sections. Oh and he remembered to take the joker lane all 3 times.
 
Yeah, JS7 had all RV could handle. Now if RV got out front, it may have been different. May not have. Like Emig said before the race, this race was set up for those good at the heat races in SX. We all know bubba is the best at the heat races/sprints, just is challenged anymore making the 20 lap trek...
 
I still cannot figure out how Dungey missed the joker lane and THEN after RV was probably laughing at Dungey for it in the semi between motos then he misses it the next race ?? Good for JS7 though! There is nothing like watching JS7 jump things nobody else has done in practice but hits it right in the race! Can you imagine RV's thoughts when he knew the next lap he had to hit that same jump ? Good racing!
