Winter Projects Re-re-re-re-visited

Mike, your new CZ's in awesome condition!

Diggin the rear shocks and that massive rear sprocket...pristine looking tank and pipe too!. Are the shocks what came on the bike originally minus the rubber booties?
Shock bellows are on order, the air shocks were standard on the 76 Falta replica,

Its down to the bare frame, and making my shopping list, want to do a light refresh hasn't run in 20 years, hope to debut it at Diamond Don's late April

Very, very cool and it doesn't look like you will have to find many parts.

This began as a winter project. I hadn't ridden the '74 400 Husky in years due to a worn out carb. Mike Scholl was good enough to rebuild the carb. It's now like a new with tight tolerances and is functioning as it should. I didn't realize how well this WR motor could run. It pulls strong now in all six gears. It's WR with Mag parts and some other trickery. I've been out on it couple of times. It's a blast!

Love the old school outfit for the old school 1974 bike. Jeans and sweatshirt reminds me of George Singler back in the day!

I want a MX 250. There was a totally restored one that some guy wanted like $9000 for....something crazy. I have a HD decorated bar, and would love to have one on display in my bar area.

Are you still using the same material as before to blast the cylinder and head John? Looks lighter in color. I like it.

I blasted the head myself with aluminum oxide. I got sick of doing it so I just finished the head and then took the cylinder to ACE Powdercoating and had them vapor blast the cylinder. I think they charged me like 15 bucks. I don't have a powerful enough compressor to really get in the nooks and crannies of air cooling fins.

The cases I blasted myself and painted.

Yep, Brian has done quite a few things for me. His work is top notch and he's a big supporter of Ohio Vintage MX.
