I know Pit is going to think I'm about to tear into the new to me YZ100 and get all stupid with it when he sees this.... and I probably will!
I'm always building some sort of obscure piece of moto machinery, and I'm always wondering what I'm going to do with the frames. Depending on who you ask, there seems to be an age old question as to whether ya paint or powdercoat? Both have advantages, but as for myself-- I'll take a quality epoxy paint. IMO-- powder is too thick, and my experience has it cracking and splintering in places like motor mounts. I like that paint can be spot touched up, rather than having to do a complete teardown to fix powdercoat if it chips or wears.
What do you guys prefer and why? --L*64
