smith road

Larry is a good guy, and without him, Smith Rd. may have had a subdivision built on it by now. Gotta keep that in mind. George had plenty of bad days for sure. Maybe Apple Frank or Jason would help Larry out for a day, and give him their input. I used to think it was the dirt, but if that was the case-- there wouldn't have been any good days. If they had the prep down better, that track would have HUGE turn outs. ---L*64

Look, it's not rocket science and you can not tell me someone who has been in the excavating business as long as Larry has does not know what to do. It's work, ALOT OF WORK!! A lot time, diesel and wear and tear on equipment. It's simple, your either willing to put in all the effort or your not.

Generally speaking...track prep is one thing, but that is only one slice of the pie. What about leadership, promotion, and operation?

It all matters.

Ya know...track prep may not be rocket science...but good prep is scientific in nature. Decision's regarding working the dirt is based off of scientific evidence...soil type(s) and mixture percentages, temperature, wind, precipitation, humidity, current season, day or night, additional materials (woodchips, manure, sawdust, sand)...and try to keep the track desireable for two different machines...it's tough.

That doesn't include being able to operate equipment.

Oh yeah...ya gotta care!!!

When prep is sweet...the helmet can't go on fast enough.

You nailed it with "ya gotta care!!!"

There in lies the problem here. You notice they havent responded to this at all...........
