Question to fathers out there about helmets for kids

We have used the fly f2 carbon for a few years. B has always had a huge head and that was the one that fit it and didn't weigh a ton. I have been told 'no way would I put a fly helmet on my kid' but we really like the carbon. He is getting ready to get back in bike from broken tib and needs a new helmet. Since we are officially done with 50's, moving up to bigger/faster bikes, and his helmet he crashed is junk, we are in process of trying to decide what helmet to buy.

I really like my F2 Carbon (orange canard replica).. For the money, its been a great helmet and I feel completely safe in it.. (or as safe as my shoei`s)
