Hard Rock for practice on Friday ! Tested and tuned up the bikes.
MX kid was there and the Jay and Henry Gref.
Nice place big track with some big jumps on the Race track.
A vintage friendly C track as well as a sand track that was very tough to ride.
They also had a nice turn track for practice!!

We out 90 miles on our street bikes just tooling around the 80 degree weather on Saturday also watched the Vintage bikes Motos at Reddik

We rounded out the day at Ironwood shooting 18 holes of golf!

Sunday was our turn to race!

The Mike and Mike show ! We both ran two Motos I ran 40+ Intermediate and ultimate 250 intermediate.
I led both Motos in 40+ but got passed on lap 4 twice by TomCarrol?? From Ohio. Great racing.
I ended up DNS one Moto from a fouled plug! Bummer!
Finished with no crashes and the 82 ran good . I can't wait to bust out the 84 soon....

Funny story!
He owners and track have been there since the 80s .
They have Goats on the track to eat the vegetation. It's there pasture !!!

So on the way home we stopped in cinncinatti. Jack is riding his bicycle to Nashville! Almost 500 miles on a missions trip for college!!
We got the hook up with him for lunch!!

All in all we had awesome trip!
Weather could not have been better!

Anybody headed to AHRMA Desoto MX in LA this weekend???? I'm thinking about racing XC Sat and Sun and possibly MX on Sun.

Elmar! Son of a gun kept beating me and only reason I won +50 championship way back when
is because I was 8 months older and he couldn't race that class until the new year. He's a fast
(and really nice) guy.
