Meet me in St. Louie...

Well, I won't be there, but you should go. Let us all know back in snowy Ohio how it was...

Anywho, although the season of #whosnext hasn't produced into what all the hype had hoped, it's still had it's share of excitement, drama, and unforntunately mishaps. Now with another front runner in Canard out, we can only hope the Eli's, Chad's, and the like can challenge the orange crush for a win and make things exciting going into Vegas. Was nice to see Brayton back in the mix, but was only so in the early going it seemed...

With that, St. Louis always seems to produce some exciting racing. Track looks cool. Les technical than Detroit, and long..er whoop section and some options potentially. OMA season opener this weekend may end up being the most exciting event of the weekend, but let's hope for a good finish to a season that's been unable to, at least in the 450's and East Coast Lites, produce an overabundance of excitement...

Wow, either y'all is tired of hearing me yak about this nonesense or SX has taken a back seat to the upcoming local season...or both. ;) Good times to be had in St. Malvern this weekend...

Really feeling bad for ol' Jake: http://racerxonline.com/2015/03/24/jake-weimer-injury-update

Canard however looks to be back for the outdoors...if he so chooses: http://racerxonline.com/2015/03/25/canard-has-successful-surgery

Some interesting facts on the race at St. Louis. Thinking they may have a typo on the Kawasaki 450 class last win, but maybe their getting into predicitive SX reporting: http://racerxonline.com/2015/03/26/st-louis-notes-package:http://racerxonline.com/2015/03/26/st-louis-notes-package

Being the Kawasaki fan I am, I am still hoping for a MIlsaps or Reed showing on the top of the podium. I think ET is the fastest out there and man to beat though. If he can get a good start and stay on two wheels, not thinking anyone has anything for him. Other than that, Dungey is only one who can with without any help (i.e. competitor bad starts, crash, etc.). I also hope we can maybe ride into MX without any mayhem like last week and have as many of the top guys healthy for the start of the outdoors as possible.

Thought this interesting: http://racerxonline.com/2015/03/26/redux-going-fast-without-crashing

Looks like the St. Louie Injury report hasn't made it out yet, but this was what it said for Detroit: http://racerxonline.com/2015/03/20/injury-report-detroit?lb

Ken Roczen – AnkleComment: Ken Roczen crashed during practice in Daytona and further aggravated an ankle injury he’d been dealing with since casing a triple in Oakland. Fortunately he doesn’t need surgery and hopes to only miss several weeks. He’s out for Detroit.

Not tired of hearing you tap, just bored with SX. All of the good riders are out and it has gotten boring watching Dungey run away, and maybe Tomac, get a good start and run up front. 250's are exciting and that's usually never the case.

Is it time for outdoors yet?

Its a $ making machine so it will never happen, but I think it is time to lose some of the SX races. 13 is enough. 6 west, 6 east and a "shootout". Save some for outdoors.
Oh, and a couple open weeks in the middle.

Yeah, as long as they have A1 (that's the on in CA), Daytona, Indy, and Vegas, I'm cool. It is a game of longevity. RD5 wins there. He's def fast, but not the fastest week in week out, just the most consistent AND healthy. Is a bummer for all the hype with #whosnext, but not thinking any of us are surprised. Also is a bummer for all those out going into the outdoors. Hopfully most will be back for a full season there or at least start with the hopes to finish one. Still looking forward to the final west coast round and Vegas.

Still some good racing potentially to be had, just not with who we had hoped and with what could have been at steak.

Always like the championship to come to the final round...who doesn't other than the eventual champ?
