150 - freaking blast! Holder pinned and shift! Pick a line and its going there. Scrub n whip like its a bicycle. I can't own one though. I have a feeling I'd blow it up alot.
250f - baddest (good) stock 250f I've ever ridden. At 215 it pulled me around great.
350 - super fun. Ring it like a 250f on straights and jumps but pulls like a 450 out of corners. This tempts me. Felt lighter than the 450 (prolly is?). It confused me.
450 - riding it last and having some time on my smoker now, I could def feel the "heaviness". However, it did feel very nimble for a 450. Stick a pipe on it, maybe add 1 tooth, and I think it might be the bike for me..
My only issue is that my knees hurt. The very front of the shroud seemed to be wide to me and every corner I was bangin my knees..
The KTMs will spoil you. Good brakes, killer clutch, good ergos. Look sick, but damn they shoulda kept the frames orange. If I get a 16, it WILL have an orange frame. Awesome that they offer this opportunity. Plus the dudes at AES Ktm are great to work with.
JO had the tracks on point. I told him after my first ride on the big track that it was good. He said " not as good as I want", so he went out n busted ass prepping the whole track. Then i went back out after prep and it was wide open 2 stroke moto heaven. The only two obstacles I didn't get along with were the 2 rollers/hips against the woods. My bone stock suspension could have been adding to the uncomfort level though.
Killer day at the cliff for sure. Awesome to see some ol regulars around. Wish i coulda hung around more but the baby was getting hot n cranky.. Georgie has one coming. Dude ganked my oakleys off my tailgate. Didnt even think about it so i started walkin around eye ballin for a thief to cut their fingers off.. Well i go tell george n he offered me a cold water.. Came back with my glasses on.. Paybacks a B word Baker.
Still think Mr.16 could ride a national with minimal effort.
