WRMC - MX Race - Sunday, September 27

Western Reserve Motorcycle Club will be holding a MX race on Sunday, 9/27.

This will be be part of the CRA Wiseco Piston Cup Series and also double points.

Gates Open/Sign-up Starts at 7:00 AM
Practice Starts 9:00 AM (two sessions each)
Racing Starts 11:00 AM
Sign-up Closes at 10:30 AM (electronic scoring will be used)

Bike only, no quads. 50cc and trail bikes will be on the small track.

Concession stand will be open on Sunday - hot food, breakfast sandwiches, coffee, pop, water, popcicles and beer.

No charge for camping the previous night, just $10 gate fee for Sunday's race.
Open practice on Saturday, 11:00 - 3:00. $25 - both big track and pee wee track.

Weather forecast is looking good for this weekend. Make a full weekend of it - practice at WRMC on Saturday, head down to Malvern or over to Pymatuning for their night races, back to WRMC for Sunday morning action.

Track layout will be the same as our Spring MX race. It will be prepped and watered. Refaced all of the jumps on Sunday, and it was about 90% ready to go then. Have been putting the finishing touches on everything this week and tonight.

Yes, we will be using RF tags for electronic scoring. This is included in your regular sign-up cost.

Tags are typically placed on the underside of your visor. Don't tear them off after the race, they can be re-used for all of our future MX, flat track and harescramble races. We can scan them at sign-up and it brings all of your info up on the computer and makes sign-up go a bit quicker. If you need a new tag, they can be picked up at the sign-up table and then brought to the sign-up window on your helmet, along with your completed sign-up forms.

Had a good time today . Track was good all day . Boy did good at his first real mx race and looking forward to the next mx race. Good job today western reserve track was dope!!!
