As everyone knows we are going to try something new. Hopefully it will go well and can continue this. Any input from anyone to help make this a great event would be great.

Long moto's to help our kids get better. Another special event for our area. Let's make it an annual event that grows like the battle and the brawl
 
Woke up this morning ready to go to another race. The Mini Gold Cup is next up. Seen Lonnie this weekend and he gave me a sneak peak at the first place award. Very cool.
Lets make this the next big event in the state.
 
Lonnie is working on the track so he asked me to send out an update...
$25 Iron Pony gift cards will be given out as holeshot awards for the second moto of all 14 classes.

While, we can't make it either because my daughter has her first swim meet on Saturday, I also am curious what bikes would be allowed for this race. This sounds like a great idea for more seat time and a shorter day.

This guy has been beating my door DOWN to have a mini race.... Guess what He's NOT even here!!!
 
Sorry Lonnie. I so want to be there but the whole family now has my respiratory infection. Missed last two days of work. This sucks. I know. I know. I'm a wuss
 
Guess I need to pay more attention. Just now seeing this on Monday. I would have brought Matthew to the race.
 
So how did the event turn out? Numbers? Conditions? Cheating? Families?

I would know these answers myself but the family and I went to New York to race.

109 entries of mini's, 14 class with 11 gate drops. Weather forecast was bad but we made it thru the day. Actually started racing at noon finished by 4:30. 10 minute motos plus 1 lap made for some long motos. Iron pony with 25$ gift cards for all 14 classes 2nd Moto hole shot awards. Some really fast riders there too!!
