BEST 2016 KTM SUSPENSION SETUPS?

The shock on the other hand, stick with the wp. Ohlins hasnt figured it out yet.

TRUST ME THAT BOB COULDNT ORDER A FAKE COACH PURSE FROM JAPAN !! HE CLAIMS HE GETS OIL STRAIGHT FROM JAPAN ! HAHA! HES SUCH A LIAR AND A SCAMMER !! Nick at Fcr has been doing our suspension for 3 years now and the suspension is great. Nick is a good guy and as long as he is doing suspension that's where I'm going.

Interesting to hear this as FCR just fixed my Yamaha SSS forks after having issues with them when another suspension guy in the area had previously worked on them.

I normally do my own fork rebuilds but had taken them to the first guy due to the forks being harsh and binding up. Was told the fork tube was tweaked so I found another tube and the guy put the forks back together with the new fork tube and had told me he replaced the seals and bushings. When I initially got them back they did feel better than they had, but after a few rides they started leaking bad and the binding up feel was back.

Decided to take them to FCR as I thought something major was wrong with them. FCR took them apart and pointed out that the seals were a cheap after market brand and then asked how many hours were on the forks since the last rebuild. I let them know I only had about 10 hours since that rebuild and their response to that was to show me that the fork bushings were toast and that there's no way they got that way in 10 hours. The fork legs were also scuffed from the bad bushings so they put the legs in a lathe to get them shaped up. Based on this, it appears the previous guy had used cheap oil, cheap aftermarket seals and didn't even bother to replace the bushings! From my experience, I thought FCR did a good job by showing me what they were doing while they fixed what another suspension guy had messed up and my forks once again worked like they should.

It's just surprising that the first guy would have done such a half ass job when his income is dependent on making his customers feel confident in his work.
 
So who was the first guy that basically did a poor job on your suspension so that other people know what to look for?
 
Andre at coppersmith has it going on. They have done ktm ohlins forks for multiple test magazines! His set up on the new wp air forks is top notch! Can't go wrong with coppersmith suspension!
 
I mean unless bob is printing out large stickers in Japanese and putting them on the 55 gallon drums of fork oil in his shop.....then I'm going with he gets his oil from Japan. Not tractor supply.

If you think he's shady ask to watch him work on your stuff. He won't mind....

I wouldnt give them .01 of my money if they were the last suspension company on the face of the earth. Way over priced, they charge you for every little thing possible, including spring rate screw ups they make. You tell them what youre feeling on the bike and they tell you that you are wrong or being too picky. On top of that Ive personally seen ruined parts on a brand new bike shock shaft they caused.

When you buy a brand new bike and a full set of Ohlins I would think they wouldnt charge you for putting the correct springs in when they specd the wrongs ones to start with. But thats just me I guess.

Steer clear of Coppersmith
