Auto mechanic?

Anyone on here an auto mechanic near the canal fulton area? I've got a 2007 Toyota Camry hybrid that has all kinds of warning lights on. A dealer checked it and said the battery pack is bad. $5600 to replace. I've checked around and I can get one for less than half that but will need installed. Maybe its simple to do but I've read that it's not a diy job. I've also seen all the warning stickers on the car that say high voltage lol
 
Have you tried contacting other Toyota dealers to see how they are priced for the battery pack and install? Just curious bc I have a hybrid and the service manager said when I bought the car, that he would take care of me when the batteries go. But you have me scared. Oh sh!#
 
Oh he will take care of ya alright lol. No I didn't try another dealer figured they are all gonna be within a couple hundred dollars. Advance Auto sells dorman batteries which is a company I like for $2500 but I need to find someone to put it in. I'm also trying to research a company called green bean battery. For $1850 the sell you the battery and put it in. Toyota says they back up their battery for 10 years but mine is 11. That's my luck
 
Guess that’s what they mean when they tell you to go green and drive a hybrid.. cause the greens gonna be going out of your pocket for those things... screw that!! Good luck !!
 
So I went with the green bean battery and it's working good so far. They have a 5 year unlimited milage warranty. They came and put it in for $1850 that includes cost of battery. All the hype about high voltage is crap too. After watching it be changed I feel like changing them for $5600 for people haha

Meanwhile the 1979 Lincoln towncars with a big burly v8 engine are still turnin....

Moto if it’s got a 5 year warranty. Sell it in 4.
 
My gay Subaru gets 18. But I didn’t buy it for fuel economy.

Car salesman near my house in Madison Ohio has all kinds of squeaky clean cutlas supremes and old Lincoln’s. Guy always has these super clean older cars. And I see them things flying off the lot and heading back towards Cleveland to get ruined. My wife and I saw one drive off the lot yesterday and my wife was like damn that thing is clean I wouldn’t even drive it in this crap. Sure as hell some guy in smoking a cigar with seat reclined way back. Smh.
