If he was on my Husky seat I wouldn’t even question why his pants were coming down. Seriously didn’t look good for the new Alpinestars riding gear. Pants coming down could have been screwing with him enough to lose concentration. Pants could have caused his spill, instead of the spill causing his pants to come loose!

As he was going over the bars they got caught at the hand grip. The pants give much quicker than the bars.
I lost a pair of Answers at Steel City on a down hill crash. Makes it tough to ride.
 
My motoseat makes my pants come down...I think. Not my fat belly.....I don't think.
 
OK, his pants weren't just being pulled down, they were completely unbuckled and unzipped when he got off the ground and then were sliding down so fast that he was like some of the kids you see in the gas station with their entire boxers showing trying to ride a SX race....... Not sure, but he may have broken the latch in the crash on the bars so they wouldn't stayed shut..... anyway, he seemed OK, and then was going backwards more and more after a little time, which is usually the opposite. His shoulder might have been separated in this crash ruining another SX season for him, that's my real guess at what's wrong, separated shoulder is not easy to deal with.
