Who's racing qualifiers?

Ya, I honestly couldn't believe the turn out, especially considering the forecast. I was also amazed at some of the talent that showed up, it made for some great racing to watch. My hats off to Briarcliff for doing a great job with the track considering the weather. Also, they kept everything flowing nicely even though they had some equipment malfunctions. Great job to the crew it was like a well oiled machine.

On Sunday -
BC was ready for it -
The facility held up well from Sat racing & rain.
The equipment was out first thing in the am. Proper sized and piloted by pros.
Practice was run - on to the racing.
The schedule clicked off - no F'ks given - today we're all here to race
Brutally rough track, serious racers, blazing fast pace
Awesome job -!

Check out this stolen- stolen - stolen ..... Photo of Meisters Sweet jump off the gate ....

I witnessed that start, it was all you... by far! And I love that gear, had some of that as my very first set 21 years ago. Wish I still had it.

Fat guy traction!

I found a whole tote of like brand new sinisalo gear at my parents. I'm wearing it instead of blowing money on the latest greatest. Pants still fit, but I can't seem to tuck the jerseys in as far.. I'll go with the fact that back in the day I rarely wore a hard chest pro under my jersey.. lol

My tounge hurts. It got caught in my chain from being so out of shape. Lol.

While being optimistic about possibly trying to qualify off the couch, I never noticed the doubled up dates in our region. Looking at most results, it looked like a 10 rider turn out at areas in +30. There were 22 at bc today in +30. Went in with my guard down for sure. Had fun though. It was nice to go off the line again and see old friends. While I could probably send my papers in n ride Baja, I'm contemplating another area qualifier.

There’s been plenty of qualifiers this year that have drawn spoons for regional placement, atleast you raced for a spot on the regional gate.
Even if you don’t make it to another AQ, I’d still send your papers in, I’m sure there will be spots available.

I was kind of thinking along those lines as well.. at least I raced and I even hate mud lol

I had so much fun this weekend, finally got a decent start my second moto of 450C Sunday and was able to latch on for a bit. Only 6 Ohio guys out of 22 which surprised me. I got smoked but the track was amazing for all the rain we had, and so so rough. Be back for revenge next year.

Another Mid East Area Qualifer in the books! It was definitely one we will not forget. The weather was tough, which made for way more work and effort. It required more people, more machines, more more more. And now more fixing! But when I look at the photos, and the aftermath, I dont see a disaster, I see success. Against all odds, we delivered a good event, as best that we could, and on a decent time frame. Plus, not one class had to draw spoons for finishes. I only gave t...wo 50 classes that option Saturday, and it was denied for racing. The only real negative was that we had to cancel practice on Friday. Oh well, we are here to race on AQ weekend.

Two special mention sponsors that really stepped up the support for this weekend. 1st Forklift Training Systems - Dave worked all weekend while I was at Ironman the week prior, he helped organize people, and he got a lot done, and he pulled over half the rigs in and out this past weekend, he really is cutting his teeth on a dozer, and starting to get 2nd. Hands down Tuff Trucking and Zanesville Materials. We "rented" a dozer from them, and proved to be the most important decision made for the weekend. Tony helps us out a bunch, and we appreciate it. We would also like to thank Rusty Riders, SRS Suspension, Defiance, Franklin Equipment, Lukes Auto, Iron Pony Motorsports, Mid Ohio Powesports, Richardson Glass, Newark Auto Electric, Rock Auto, Answer Gear, Pro Taper, Wright Brothers Power, Ripped Vinyl, and Rocky Mountain ATV/MC, Moto MD, PR2, Minton Cycles.

Oh boy here we go, Im going to give this a shot.
In order of appearance for help: Cara Osborn, Kinsey Osborn, Reese Osborn, Allison Osborn (shes entertaining), Mom and Dad, Mark Burkhart,
Dave Hoover, Garrett Madinger, Austin Hollingshead, Oakie Montgomery, Ron Hall, Luke Henry, Josh Fulton and his children Maddie, CJ and Eli, Matt Winland, Dobie Kidd, Colton Elick, Kip Davis, Tony Mock, Brian Finckel, Jimmy Fouts, Connie Sickels, Whitney Bingham, Jessica Edwards, Lynne, Amanda Toth, Ben Fouts, Andrew Martin, Robert Kimble, Joey Gockenbach, Tyler Osborn, Derrick Hopkins, Joyce and Wayne Wade, Charlotte, Adam Johnson, Amber Christman, Brian & Nikki Wood, Ken Peterman, Derek and Brittany Everett, Nate Fuggit, Adam Campbell, The entire Hanover Volunteer Fire Department, all the parents that helped with the 50cc classes, Our new vendors Steve Phillips and his wife, and also Jeremy Jones and his kettle corn/lemon shake ups crew. The man of the weekend, the hero of the day is Brian Neely, who dropped what he was doing, and where he was, to come to the track and weld up our broken starting gate. If I missed anyone, I'm sorry, I gave it a shot. Thanks everyone! #LorettaLynnMX, #RoadToLorettas and #LLMX

718 Riders this weekend!!! Jeremy has built a team that is second to none at Briarcliff MX. I only see his other staff a couple of times a year, yet when the weekend starts, it's all hands on deck and EVERYONE works together to make the event work! Saturday evening at 7pm when we left the track, we had already been there for 13 hours. But as I went up the drive to leave, there was Jeremy going to pull people in, pull people out, and then headed out to scrape and get that track ready for Sunday morning! I don't know that he ever made it to his house Saturday evening...

He knows his dirt and he will do everything in his power to make it great. I am thankful to be part of the Briarcliff history!!

I see that MX Sports has also put the results online!
