Yes, many fun times were had there. This is my son in the same location that the picture of my first race was taken, 20 some years later.
 
God, I have such great memories of Smith Road and George....and Sharc and Harold Robison (RIP) and Jerry Sales and Jon Leak (RIP) and Dave Shelly and Phil Hawkins and Benko and Chuck Emory (RIP) and the Hands and Kenny Karnow and Bob Werschey, etc. This photo is one of the few I have of me at Smith...from late '78 jumping up the hill and landing next to the tracks. Gotta love that JT gear! BTW, we're doing a lot of retro stuff in American Motorcyclist magazine, guys, so join up if you'd like to see what we're doing there.
