Yes, I am little old, a dollar short, and a day late to be the first guy to race an electric bike at Loretta's!!!! I really wanted to race an Alta there this year in a normal class and ride my husky 450 in another class, just to see the lap time difference and how it would go.
Now, a whole class of 4-6 year olds will steal my "lack of" thunder!!!!! Oh well, life goes on, so does my Husky 450, and I still don't own an Alta Red Shift MXR, and for that matter, my wife's health kept me out of Loretta's and off the bike most of this year.
Next year, I'm shooting for Loretta's again, no E bike, just my same old bike with a new programmable ignition on it, that I can hopefully make run a little better. Just going to enjoy it and have fun.
Interesting to see that the new E mini bikes get first billing. It's coming, and we'll all be riding e bikes in another 10 years or so.
