Any been up to the Clevelandish area and did a charter on the lake?

Grandpa wants to take the boy up for his birthday and was looking at Sara-J.

Looking at just the three of us. Grandpa and my self aren't into fishing but will participate with my 9 year old.

We want to clean the fish to eat that evening at a camp site as we plan on taking the motor home up. So possibly two days on the lake.

My brothers and I charter out of Port Clinton. That might be a bit far for you, but the fishing it typically pretty good in that part of lake. I have a freezer full of walleye to prove it. haha. We use Fisherman's Wharf.

I don't see where they offer a smaller boat. Grandpa isn't wanting to go out on a party size boat. Just the three of us.

They offer a 6 pack option usually. Give them a call ask of course, but I know we have taken out their 6 person boat in the past.

Oh my gosh yes!! Walleye and Perch. The perch is amazing and with big limits we catch enough to bring home for later. We usually charter out of Port Clinton as well.

Minnesota has the most restrictive limits I have seen. They have a possession limit and not a daily limit that makes it hard to bring a multi-day catch home.

You are heading into a great time of year for catching both. I have used a variety of Erie charters, usually one that is running a special or available, and have never been disappointed.

Not the cheapest way to catch fish but really good days on the lake. Another option is Hybrid Striped Bass on Lake Cumberland in KY. I haven't done that in a few years but cost was about 30% of a Lake Erie Charter. The fish are big and fun to catch.

When my son was in the 6-10 year range I took him to stocked pay lakes. Lot's of success/action and the trips were shorter. My son was in high school on his first Lake Erie Charter.

Had a great trip.
Walleye is some great tasting fish.
Sara j charters did a great job.
