Alph, here's my Svart. Same basic chassis/engine as your bike with a different flavor of bodywork.

Your bike was on my potential list originally, but honestly I got sucked in with the $5,000 price tag of the Svartpilen.

I have the same bike! I love it, and I believe it is the best commuter bike I've ever owned. It's also super fun to ride. I agree with an earlier comment about the smaller bikes. To me, the smaller the bike, the more fun you have. You can actually run through the gears. I have zero issues going 70 on the highway as well. I used to commute 25 miles on a CB125S so I feel like I am qualified to comment on that!

Dude!!!! Unreal! Let me know how it feels compared to your old 250.
Jack..got to put some laps in today on the new bike..bike is a little down on power compared to my 16 with pipe and reeds.. I will say the stock suspension is really good…even compared to my proaction set.. the one thing that is most notable is how slim and flat the lay out is now. Very easy to move around on the bike. brakes are better too…all in the bike is cool looking but not sure it was worth the 9 grand when compared to my 16.. going to puts some reeds in her to see if that picks up the power..
