First time there they were using mulch on top of the clay
Second time, they were digging out the river bottom sediment and were using that.

Edit: Wildcat is a difficult track regardless of surface - just keepin it real

Wildcat would of been a way better track with just clay.

I loved the double double into the corner. That's the layout at Red Bud I liked in the early 90s.

I liked that RB layout the best as well.

That second double is when I learned the hard way that you could double on yellow flag in AMA racing back in the 90s --- I got landed on after rolling it due to yellow flag. The dude that landed on me was pissed off! I was like WTF do I know I came from racing CRA and yellow flag meant roll jumps! Luckily neither of us was hurt just my shoulder scraped up.
