I totally agree. Meister was posting about this in the other thread.

Why is every track hauling in sand to become a sand track? Why is Unadilla hauling in foreign soil to the area?

Part of the thing about the nationals was that different areas of the country have different types of soil. Sand, black top soil, red clay, limestone, etc. Let's have some variety. Kenny is 100% correct.

Agree but like John 259 said, each track has character based on soil along with other things. Why are they making them all sand based tracks?

What is Unadilla’s character? Must have been rocks as big as helmets all over the track. Or maybe the tire puncturing rocks. Yes who would ever want to see those go.

This is a problem with national and local tracks. Adding dirt to improve the soil is good. But changing the racing surface completely sucks. I came to the conclusion this year that if you ride sand all year long your set. Loretta’s is basically a rough rutted corner sand track. Then almost all the regionals are pretty much sand anymore. I just wish tracks were more like Scott and JO and add different soils to make it good rather than just completely destroying the tracks with all sand

Probably scoring issues. Either that or quit because the track was garbage. They shouldn't have brought in new soil.
