Pro motocross

Right and they don’t get iv’s between motos! The drink monster and Red Bull maybe pediolite and Gatorade between motos to get hydrated!!! And sit in ac trailers !!! Then good to go next moto. 90 degrees 30 min!!! Makes sense why they can’t pee!!! Even though multiple professional riders over the yrs have been caught having to pee right before the gate drops of there moto!! That 30 mins must have dehydrated them!!!Bahaha! Ok
Ok I’ve got a question for you, What’s the best way to hydrate the human body ? If you don’t know you’re a liberal ! (Kidding)

What’s the best way to hydrate ?

Very funny how red bud shaped up. We constantly hit this subject on the head and once again just proves the point more. The track was rough but honestly not that rough and not really that rutted either. Just crazy to me how they prep for the pros and they can go damn near everywhere on the track and it’s super good but for amateur races and regionals it’s just a slot car track. Watching the racing is 1000x better the way they had the track prepped. They could move around and pass. This year the tracks seem very inconsistent prep wise. Some technical and very rutted and others rough but able to move around and we have seen the best racing comes from the less technical tracks

I’ve never felt restricted to any one line when I’ve raced redbud. That track was great freedom of movement.

Comparing to the regional there earlier this year, the track was way deeper and never dried up as much. Not a lot of bikes on the track compared to the regional traffic. 4 ten minute qualifying sessions. 2 LCQs and the 4 motos. Constant prep in between. Braking and acceleration bumps formed quicker and bigger. They knocked down the ruts on the faces often. The ruts were deep but not dry and firm, very forgiving. Jack said it was a fun track, better than the regionals. I was disappointed that they made the leap more difficult from a fan’s perspective. The run up was deep and choppy, I didn’t see many guys tossing it for the fans because it was a struggle to just get over it. Overall they had it going on from Lerch announcing, track prep and fan experience. Fans were crazy at the podium! Good times!

Everytime I’ve rode red bud was regional weekend. They prep it so different it’s slot car racing. Once your in a line your stuck. I also don’t get the laraccos leap deep and chop. I wanna watch the pros jump it every lap and everyone else does too so why make it harder. If it was easier like it use to be you’d see people like roczen throw whips and nacs over it

You’re an amateur, they are pro’s. You’re bike is off the showroom floor with bolt ons, there bikes are factory. An amateur regional brings in how many spectators and money, an ama pro national brings in how many fans and money? Answer those questions and you’ll have your answer why they prep it different. Stop complaining it will never change. No one cares how good the racing was at an amateur regional compared to a pro national that will be televised. You’ll figure it out one day.

Best racing of the year for sure. I watched something about how they prep Millville just for the fact they want good racing! And who can argue with that start.... knarly
this year I’ve noticed minus high point they definitely do more track prep and want them to be able to move around. Go to videos a few years back and races and it’s crazy that for some reason prep changed from one extreme to the next only place who hasn’t is Millville and Washougal
and have the best race track

I was standing on the hill behind the sand rollers when Freddie cased the leap in practice Sunday. Unbelievable that he walked away from this. The bike was a mangled mess.

Chance Hymas' sprint speed at the beginning of the motos was impressive and poetry in motion.

The masterpool/Deegan battle at the end of moto 1 was the highlight of the day.

The crowd at Redbud is unmatched. AP on the podium on 4th of July weekend goes together better than peanut butter and jelly.

Deegan and masterpool battle was great to watch for sure. I saw the video of Freddie and literally exactly what I said in the other thread. Glad to see Ap on the podium and sexton figuring it out.
