My favorite race of the year and I’m missing it for an effing wedding.

I didddd however sneak my way into the RMarmy ride day at Ironman the Friday before the next MERP. Lot of driving on the schedule but it’ll make the vet fest situation sting a little less.

Usually Friday practice is deeper than race day. But both are usually a little deeper since it's the 1st event after the national after they've normally added a ton of sand back in. It's only hateful the first couple practice sessions though, after that it's fun

One thing about red bud I like and most tracks can’t do is they prep it so deep underneath that when they water throughout the day it honestly doesn’t get that slick besides the faces a bit. We need whatever red bud has to rip it so deep in Ohio

Took vacation Friday. Hotel room is booked. Kid is pre registered for practice and race. We’re gonna send it. If it rains it rains. It’s our first trip to ride there. I would be bummed if we stayed home and the track was prime like Unadilla turned out to be.

We missed out on a race at Steel City one year. 100% chance of rain, guaranteed they said.. Didn't sprinkle a drop there the entire day.
