W.T.M. 6/24-6/30

The place is awesome but so far the turnout is terrible. The promotors are doing everything to attract racers. Not too many classes, the program moves smoothly, the lighting isn’t bad, and the dirt is great.
Wait, it’s not mxsports ? Must avoid.

Also racers

Mxsports needs to pay us to race.

Any of you guys wants to drive at all this Saturday both Area 51 MX and Pavilion MX are doing semi private rides days Saturday only. Gonna be a little on the chilly side up there but both are REALLY fun tracks. All info on their Facebook pages…

went to Hoyt farm today and had a blast. Everyone say some prayers for shafer he was knocked out cold for about 5 minutes I was the first to find him laying there not a good situation but he woke up and seems to have a broken wrist and I’m sure a concussion. Hopefully he’s alright and heals up fast!

Thanks, Matthew. I appreciate your help. Hoyts is very cool. It's a once-a-year event.
I knew I over-jumped it when I took off. Broke my right wrist and a few cracked ribs.
Worst part is I'm right-handed. I'm just sore, waiting for the hydrocodone to kick in...
6+ week break :(

Bummer Mark!

Damnit Johnny!!!

Thanks Matthew --!
Personally, I've only experienced coming up on someone with closed eyes once.
Was a younger kid and remember my mind racing with the possibilities/ outcomes / choices.
Then a few others came and were able to address the situation better.
It was a life changing event for me.

Shaf - Pleased to see you're up & about and in good spirits.
Dammit Johhny!

Glad you’re ok. Do you know how to wipe your ass with your left hand? Might be messy the first couple tries!!!!!!!

I was actually back on a bike today. Third time in about 3 years. Man I am in horrible shape. I also need to just get comfortable again on some jumps. Drives me nuts. I am setting some small goals to get back riding again.

Went to Orlando MX. It's a run track. The soil reminds me a little of Silver Dollar in Georgia. Has a clay base and just a little sand on top. Much better than some of the other Florida tracks.

Thanksgiving weekend, on Saturday my brother and myself and some friends are heading down to Perry for one last ride, before they close for the year. I know most of you are moto riders, but Perry is fun and has A LOT of area to ride. If any of yall would like to join us, let me know.

Being out for so long, take care of your head. Maybe consider longer than 6 weeks if you’re getting wierd symptoms. Follow-on impacts can be really catastrophic. Glad you’re ok.

Yeah concussion is no good - first ride back from mine this weekend and I was more cautious than ever.

I rode painfully slow.

I don’t know how some guys don’t touch a bike for months hop back on and ride same speed they always have.

It takes a lot of effort and riding to maintain my embarrassing pace.

Darn Mark! Sorry to hear that man, but glad it wasn't worse. I hate having to use my left hand to get my rearend clean. Brushing teeth takes some getting used to also.
