AMA needs to set an example of JS. Lots of little kids look up to JS and if they see him get off without punishment then they will think it is ok to break the law.

More than likely Stewart will finish the season out, and possibly be outdoors. The real story is the crybaby cops. I know they perform a good task and all, however, most of the cops are worse than the criminals they arrest. These cops now days are drunks who drive every night, do drugs, kidnap, extort, and the list goes on. And when they get caught, most of them just lose there jobs. 90% of them walk around everyday with egos that would trump the largest of the largest. The ones that let you go are cool, the rest are fat pricks.
oh boy this could turn into a huge cop debate lol.
im friends with several cops. i dont hate cops one bit, but i have seen several cases of them just apparently having nothing better to do than to give you a hard time. although totally unrelated to stewarts situation, i have been pulled over, followed, questioned, etc all for nothing before. Mentor is one city that REALLY REALLY REALLY hates motorcycles. Now most of you know that i've done a fair share of things on motorcycles that most cops would be really mad about.. however, there have been plenty of times where i was not doing anything wrong at all, for example just riding down the road with a girl on the back, with another rider next to me also with a girl, both everyone wearing helmets and jackets and stuff... and a cop makes a u turn.. follows us for a good half mile, sees another bike and makes another u turn to go follow him.
i think stuff like that makes a lot of people hate on cops. where i live now, a good few miles down the road theres probably a lot of drug deals going on and all kinds of bad stuff.. and i have had 0 problems with cops. when i was in mentor, a nice area, i seriously seemed to talk to a cop every few weeks for one reason or another.. probably because they had nothing else better to do than to harass people.
ive had cops make false claims before, saying that they saw me do something (when i 100% did not). I've had cops literally say "im going to write you a ticket, just because i can", I had one cop want to tow my bike before when i had my temp motorcycle license, because he didnt know that your temps did not show on your license, he was 100% convinced I was lieing and did not have my temps, even though i had a paper in my hand proving that i did. once again, did nothing wrong for that situation to even occur. so IMO there are plenty of jerk cops out there, but for every jerk ive came across ive also met some very cool ones.
Some of these cop stories seem exaggerated. I can't picture a cop saying I'm giving you a ticket because I can.. unless you take it out of context and you said something dumb or smart to him.
"Hello sir, just want to let you know I'm currently writing you a ticket because I can, not because you were breaking the law or it's my job, just because I can."
Yep, that totally happens all the time I bet.
and one more time for the james stewart incident: AWWWW HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Well worded! I probably could have worded my statement better... All i was trying to say is that i "dislike," if "HATE" is to strong of a word, COPS, because "MOST OF" or "SOME" for technicality issues, don't practice what they preach. Officers, Politicians, Doctors, CEO's, Teachers, etc... are supposed to be model citizens of the United States. And with age, an ever changing society and growing population, when you see growing instances of these types of individuals behaving in a manner you would not expect, it becomes quite disheartening.
Not everyone of them acts this way, i don't dislike them ALL, but stereotypes just don't appear out of nowhere either. Not all dogs are mean, but when you are bit by one, your perspective might change a little. I am not saying i am perfect, just aware that it happens everyday.
Here is a little article, I am not the only one who notices this:
