That's absolutely true. Just depends on what sort of handout you want. That helps
a lot of people decide who to vote for. Corporate handouts can do a lot of good, just
like Aid to Dependent Children, medicaid, and other public assistance programs. But
they are also equally handouts.
Farm aid, on the other hand, as PJ O'Rourke said in his excellent book "Parliament
of Whores", should be taken behind the barn and killed.
He also said "In our brief national history we have shot four of our presidents,
worried five of them to death, impeached one and hounded another out of
office. And when all else fails, we hold an election and assassinate their character."
