Finally got the clutch all figured out. Thank God for Sharc. On to some other small projects.
Took apart the silencer to repack that soon and Travis from SRS has the rear shock. Coming together slowly but at least it’s coming together.

Well I’ve been working on the CR a little more. Got some stuff done this weekend. Bought some radiators for it. Got some China hose with them. Not to happy with the fit of the hose but we will see how they do. Might buy a different set. Threw on some new brake pads too.

Graphics plastics and front forks are next on the list. I’ve gone this far getting it together I feel like not getting the forks done is a slap to all the other new things on the bike. So maybe in the next few weeks.

Also got my shock back from SRS so I’m hyped for that. And everything else has been smooth sailing. Fresh tires going on soon. Silencer repack happing tomorrow.

Stock wheels can look good too. But the tube and tire on my 2006 YZ 125 had finally had enough. So on with the new and this is after an hour on the grass track last week. Stock except for some Graham Jarvis carb mods, 250 springs, tall seat, hand guards and the stickers that came on it. I never want to be without a 125. I'm way old now but I start it and fun things just happen.

125's are by far the most fun on 2 wheels !

Well it’s finally finished. Took out the CR Thursday to Apple cabin. It runs. But not great. Ended up fouling a plug but was still able to get some laps in. It rips. I’m just out of shape.

Suspension feels great (SRS for the rear and a buddy did the springs up front for me).
Graphics from VertMX look amazing. And a bunch of orders from Motosport, EBay and RockyMountain.

Scrap that pos carb. You will never be able to jet it! Replace it with a lectron. It will make your life much easier! Never understood why the 2002-2007 cr125 is so popular. It’s motor is junk! Enjoy it though. It’s a 125 !!!

Just gotta come up with 500 bucks that the wife won’t know I spent lol. Honestly it was just fun to build. If I ride it 3 times a year I’ll be happy. Just a fun little project to mess around with. Plus I’m really digging the silver wheels on it. It looks good.

Yeah...I need to do that for 2005 KX 300 as well. I noticed that both the 500 builds I posted are using a Lectron.

How do I work this thing. It’s running rich. Fouled a plug in the first ride. Just never really wanted to clear out. Full throttle it cleans out but it loads up pretty quick. And ideas on where to start to lean it out. Probably should see what jets are in it first.

Did you check the float level? What about the needle and seat? If it fouled that easy, it could be something else. If that's all good, start with leaning the needle out. Your riding in the throttle position where the needle does the mixture. Raise the clip on the needle 1 position at a time. You can also try 1 size smaller main and pilot but you need to make one change at a time so you can keep track of what works and what doesn't.

Or he can turn the throttle past 1/4 …I seen him at apple cabin and only thing missing was training wheels!! It’s a 125 2stroke only one way to ride it WFO!
