125's are by far the most fun on 2 wheels !Stock wheels can look good too. But the tube and tire on my 2006 YZ 125 had finally had enough. So on with the new and this is after an hour on the grass track last week. Stock except for some Graham Jarvis carb mods, 250 springs, tall seat, hand guards and the stickers that came on it. I never want to be without a 125. I'm way old now but I start it and fun things just happen.

You should know evo and I must concur wholeheartedly.125's are by far the most fun on 2 wheels !
Just gotta come up with 500 bucks that the wife won’t know I spent lol. Honestly it was just fun to build. If I ride it 3 times a year I’ll be happy. Just a fun little project to mess around with. Plus I’m really digging the silver wheels on it. It looks good.Scrap that pos carb. You will never be able to jet it! Replace it with a lectron. It will make your life much easier! Never understood why the 2002-2007 cr125 is so popular. It’s motor is junk! Enjoy it though. It’s a 125 !!!
Yeah...I need to do that for 2005 KX 300 as well. I noticed that both the 500 builds I posted are using a Lectron.Scrap that pos carb. You will never be able to jet it! Replace it with a lectron. Taking donations of either the carb or 500 bucks.Throw it in the garbage! You can try different pilots, mains, needles and clip positions. It will never be right.
Did you check the float level? What about the needle and seat? If it fouled that easy, it could be something else. If that's all good, start with leaning the needle out. Your riding in the throttle position where the needle does the mixture. Raise the clip on the needle 1 position at a time. You can also try 1 size smaller main and pilot but you need to make one change at a time so you can keep track of what works and what doesn't.How do I work this thing. It’s running rich. Fouled a plug in the first ride. Just never really wanted to clear out. Full throttle it cleans out but it loads up pretty quick. And ideas on where to start to lean it out. Probably should see what jets are in it first.
Only if you don't know how to jet a bikeThrow it in the garbage! You can try different pilots, mains, needles and clip positions. It will never be right.
Or he can turn the throttle past 1/4 …I seen him at apple cabin and only thing missing was training wheels!! It’s a 125 2stroke only one way to ride it WFO!Did you check the float level?
